Profiles

Mild steel profiles or shims are pieces of steel in various thicknesses which can be cut to specific sizes and can be used in a variety of applications such as gap filling and protective covers through to spreader plates, and top and bottom plates for structural columns. These profiles are versatile components that can be plasma cut to any particular size. Our thicknesses range from 0.9mm all the way up to 25mm. In structural applications, the size, thickness and load-bearing capacity of our profiles must be determined by a qualified structural engineer.
